Turmeric BBQ Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs (about 1.5kg)
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tbsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tbsp dried dill
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Combine chicken and rest of ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well with hands. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes – overnight is best.

Heat grill to medium-high heat.

Once the grill is hot, grill thighs for 5-7 minutes per side. To check if the chicken is done, either use a thermometer in the thickest part of the thigh to read 165 F, or cut one thigh in the thickest part and make sure there isn’t any pink.
